with stable or pending guaranteed income who are seeking a quiet,
structured, respectful housing environment.
Do you provide medical care?
No. Preferred Housing Solutions is a housing provider only. We do not
provide medical care, nursing care, personal care, medication
administration, mobility assistance, or clinical supervision.
Do residents need to be ambulatory?
Yes. Residents must be 100% ambulatory and capable of independent
living without mobility assistance.
Do residents need guaranteed income?
Yes. Placements are prioritized for adults with verifiable guaranteed
monthly income such as SSI, SSDI, retirement income, pension income,
long-term disability benefits, veterans disability compensation,
structured settlement income, or agency-supported housing payments.
Can someone be considered if benefits are about to begin?
Yes. Applicants who are very close to beginning guaranteed benefits
may be considered if they can provide documentation showing approval,
pending approval, backpay status, or confirmed benefit start dates.
Do you offer private rooms?
Yes. We offer both private rooms and shared room options depending on
availability.
Do you work with social workers and placement agencies?
Yes. We work with hospital discharge planners, social workers, case
managers, behavioral health professionals, reentry coordinators,
probation support agencies, community reintegration programs, and
community placement agencies.
Does PHS accept returning citizens?
Yes. PHS coordinates housing for justice-involved adults and returning
citizens who are ambulatory, capable of independent living, and have
verified income or documented pending benefits. We work with reentry
coordinators, probation support agencies, and community reintegration
programs.
Does PHS work with reentry organizations?
Yes. We coordinate with reentry coordinators, probation support
agencies, community reintegration programs, and justice transition
organizations to provide stable housing for eligible adults
transitioning back into the community.
Does PHS provide supportive housing environments?
Yes. PHS provides structured, non-medical housing environments for
ambulatory adults seeking stability and independent living support
within community-based housing settings. We are not a medical
facility, behavioral facility, assisted living, nursing facility, or
licensed care provider.
Are residents required to be independent and ambulatory?
Yes. All residents must be 100% ambulatory and capable of independent
living. PHS does not provide mobility assistance, personal care
services, or supervision beyond ordinary housing management. We cannot
accommodate individuals requiring wheelchair support or mobility aids.
Does PHS provide medical or clinical services?
No. PHS is a non-medical housing coordination provider. We do not
provide medical care, nursing services, medication management,
clinical treatment, counseling, personal care, or any licensed care

Yes. Agencies including reentry coordinators, probation support
organizations, and justice transition programs can submit referrals
for justice-involved adults who meet our eligibility criteria:
